Literature Festivals in India
The VIBHOR-Shimla International Literature Festival is a Literary Festival unlike any other! This festival honors literature, film, music, poems, and freedom of expression. The festival will be held in the historic Gaiety Theater on The Mall, right in the heart of Shimla, against the beautiful backdrop of the Himalayan foothills. Over 70 poets, artists, academics, intellectuals, humanitarians, politicians, television and film celebrities, publishers, and entrepreneurs from India and around the world will attend the Festival. We will hold panel conversations, seminars, book readings, talks, debates, book launches, music and dance performances, art and craft, and cultural exhibitions for two days. We will put together the brightest minds in Hindi, English, Urdu, and regional literature. Parallel activities at the Festival will include a cultural fair and a short-film festival.
